SkyPoint Observation Deck

Soar above the Gold Coast and take in the breathtaking beauty of the region from SkyPoint,
Australia’s highest observation deck, located 230 metres above the beach at the top of the
iconic Q1 building. As the only observation deck on the Gold Coast, SkyPoint is a must-see
destination for locals and visitors alike, offering a truly unique vantage point that captures the
essence of this sun-soaked paradise.

Enjoy 360-degree panoramic views that stretch from the glistening coastline to the green
hinterland, with sweeping vistas of golden beaches, rolling hills, city lights, and the vast
Pacific Ocean. Whether you’re gazing out at sunrise, soaking up midday sunshine, or
watching the skyline glow during sunset, the deck offers unforgettable moments at every
turn.

The deck is open daily from 7:30am to 9:00pm, making it the perfect place to start your day
with a peaceful coffee or wind down with an evening drink as the city sparkles below. As you
stroll around the space, take time to explore the interactive information panels that tell the
story of the Gold Coast’s rich natural environment and dynamic urban growth.

Whether you’re a photographer, history buff, or simply someone who loves a great view, the
SkyPoint Observation Deck promises a memorable experience high above the heart of
Surfers Paradise.

For those craving a next-level adventure, SkyPoint Climb delivers an unforgettable thrill. As
Australia’s highest external building climb, this once-in-a-lifetime experience takes you to the
very summit of Q1—270 metres above the beach—where the views are as heart-stopping as
the climb itself. There’s no glass, no barriers—just you, the sky, and the Gold Coast
stretching out below.

The climb lasts approximately 90 minutes, giving you ample time to gear up, scale the
heights with your expert guide, and take in the awe-inspiring 360-degree scenery. From the
sparkling ocean and coastal skyline to the lush green hinterland and beyond, the view is
absolutely unbeatable. It’s no wonder this is often called the most thrilling experience in
Surfers Paradise.

SkyPoint Climb is offered multiple times throughout the day, including special twilight climbs
that give you a front-row seat to the setting sun and the twinkling city lights that follow.
Whether you’re conquering your fear of heights or ticking off a bucket-list adventure, every
climb is packed with adrenaline, wonder, and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.

If you’re looking to elevate your Gold Coast getaway—literally—SkyPoint Climb is an
