Couples will feel on top of the world when they celebrate their wedding at Q1 Resort & Spa, the tallest residential tower around the globe. The iconic resort, situated in southern Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, is a popular place for newlyweds to tie the knot and honeymoon.
Q1 Resort & Spa General Manager John Wilder said the tower appealed to couples because it offered something different. “There are very few venues in Australia and around the world where couples can mark their wedding day in the clouds, making them truly feel on top of the world,” he said.
“At Q1, newlyweds can exchange vows over 230 metres above the ground in the Skylight Room and celebrate their reception closer to the ground. We offer a range of options and tailored packages for those who want to enjoy the day in a world-renowned iconic tower.
“It is a unique experience and both the couples themselves and their guests often comment on how they literally felt on cloud nine during the event.”
Then elegant Grand Ballroom on level 2 is capable of holding 230 for a sit-down event or 400 people for a cocktail reception and can also be transformed into three smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings.
The private terrace is available for a ceremony or pre-reception cocktail party and is the ideal place for guests to mingle. The bridal party will also have access to the resort’s stunning gardens and lagoon swimming pools for their wedding day photographs.
Q1 Resort & Spa offers luxury one, two and three bedroom suites with magnificent ocean and hinterland views.
The resort boasts a number of health and recreational facilities including Q1 day spa, two lagoon swimming pools and an indoor heated lap – pool, gymnasium, steam and sauna rooms, BBQ facilities, private in house cinema and children’s game’s room.
Bride and Groom including their guests can enjoy a selection of unique spa treatment prior or after the wedding.
